APLA Health is a non-profit organization that is devoted to promoting the health and well-being of LGBT and other marginalized communities, as well as those living with or affected by HIV. They provide a wide range of services in various locations throughout Los Angeles County.
The Los Angeles LGBT Center - Transgender Health Care offers medical providers that specialize in caring for transgender women and men who are considering, in the process of, or have already completed their transition. They also provide a variety of support groups related to crystal methamphetamine, led by mental health professionals, in centers in Hollywood and West Hollywood. The Los Angeles AIDS Coordinating Office funds a unique leadership program for transgender women of color. This program provides them with the personal development tools necessary to become leaders, live powerful lives, and improve the overall well-being of the transgender community in the greater Los Angeles area.
